Shinsekai Yori: A Haunting Vision of the Future
You don’t get something like this often. This goes deep, serious and involving. This series really delves and explores. The plot is thick, maybe too thick to aptly guess at times, at least for the first half. :eyes:
A Slow-Burning Nightmare
In fact for most part of the series, the message is vague. And you have to draw your own interpretation. Then as and the story progresses, things get clearer. More explained. And you can understand and appreciate the series more.
The show may not be for someone who likes fluffy goody goody stuff. In fact, I don’t think this is show that can cater the masses. But for someone like me who would love some bit complexity in an anime, it was awesome.
Overall, this is one of the better shows. Definitely a show that should be watched with somewhat open mind and absolutely no fanboyishness and expectations.
