Well, after watching I would say it didn’t match up to first season. Even so, it was okay to good.. just that it could have been much better, and impactful. :eyes:

The Visual Downgrade

The art and animation is a big let down. The animation was much below the standard of the first season. And I would drop a few points over the use of different character designs. First season was by Madhouse, and this one was by Artland… so different animators, different voice actors. It didn’t sit well with me.

I guess it would be a bit debatable to actually call this a follow up to Gunslinger Girl first season. Everything is different except the core story and a bit of continuation. In the end it becomes more of an action show than anything else.
