Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood: Is Perfection Boring?
It was great. Satisfaction is the one word that comes to mind after watching the entire 64 episodes. A remake and a pure adaptation of the manga, it doesn’t disappoint if ever and is much better than its previous version of 2003. :eyes:
The Story Wins
The story is what wins it for Brotherhood. The story in itself is very ingenious. The world of alchemy is quite well shown in the series. Moreover, the way the underlying conspiracy comes to light and the way they counterattack is really good.
Mustang and Bradley
The characters are good too. Roy Mustang and King Bradley are the two most epic characters of this series. Mustang of the first season is nothing in comparison to what he is in Brotherhood. He is more fleshed out. King Bradley is another seriously well-developed character. The aura and presence of a King that he depicts is just too awesome.
The Annoyance
One annoying thing would be the atrocious timing of comic scenes and gags. Like there would be a very serious and important scene going on, and they would completely ruin it by inserting unneeded comic scenes, especially of Ed and Al. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
After watching this, I felt very satisfied. No loose ends. No half-baked ending. Everything seemed complete. It gave me a peace of mind. A definite must-watch.
