Fullmetal Alchemist 2003: Darker, Grittier, and Unforgettable
It was good. I like how good the story was. Though FMA took a different route from the manga, even so… it was very good. :eyes:
The Plot
The plot had it all, to be honest. It had a fair amount of dark elements and is by no means a simple happy-go-lucky story. It was a journey of the two brothers and about all the hardships thrown at them. With lots of twists, new discoveries, the story keeps evolving and things become more clearer as well as darker at the same time.
The Characters
Characters are good and fitting to the plot. The two brothers, especially, are extremely well done. Lots of character development takes place over the time and with some fitting flashbacks… you have just the right cast.
Being a fan of tragic moments and such stories, it was quite good for me.
Overall, a definite must-watch. Though this differs from the manga and Brotherhood, but it was released first and this may not be better than Brotherhood, even so… it was worth a watch.
