Fate/stay night: Ideally Flawed or Flawedly Ideal?

It was a very nice action/romance anime. The story was very good and had some fanservice too, which I don’t really complain about here. :eyes:

The Good: Why It Clicked

It had a fair amount of battle scenes. The fights taking place at night, so a dark background to the fight scenes made the scenes “flashy” so to speak.

The focus on Shirou and Saber was done well, in a way that it appealed to the viewer. This series pretty much made Saber an iconic female character in the anime world.

The Comparison

Even so, it is a weaker adaptation than the follow-up prequel Fate/Zero. But considering I watched it a long time ago, I can’t really comment more in depth… but yeah, this is a definite must-watch and should be watched before Fate/Zero even though timeline-wise Fate/Zero is a prequel.

Overall, an excellent anime. The music in both the movie and the series was top notch. It really suited well to the theme. The entire series on whole is a must-watch for any anime fan.
