End of Evangelion movie was a high point of the series. It’s more of a parallel ending than an alternate one. It’s really good. Eva series is incomplete without the EoE movie. It’s dark, to the point of shock. :eyes:

The Music

What is very noteworthy is the use of famous western classical pieces as background music in many scenes, even tragic ones… The way Pachelbel’s Canon played… and the scene when Beethoven’s Ode to Joy rings in the background.. It will give you goosebumps…

The Flaws

I am not a cult fanatic of Eva, and I have a fair share of my complaints on Eva. Eva isn’t without its flaws. Sure, it’s awesome. But, it is again imperfect. Especially, the later parts of the TV series, some moments of End of Eva… there are these pure bullshit stuff that comes across.

All being said, I did like Eva to the extreme. One of those shows that really had an emotional impact on me.
