Bonnouji: The Comfiest Romance You've Never Read
Awesome. It was a really good read. A slice of life comedy about two people’s romance. It is such a cute and adorable story. This isn’t some shoujo romance, but basically just a slice of life seinen with touch of comedy. The characters have their perks and traits. The relationship between the two leads is very good, and very vividly protrayed. Oyamada’s personality make it very comfortable, and with Ozawa’s perkiness… it becomes very wholesome. It is simple, focuses on the interactions of the two lead characters, and their budding romance in a very unique and bizzare setting of their room “Bonnouji”. At times, it left me wishing to live in a room like that. That easy comfortable atmosphere… well, it’s a manga that I doubt anyone would dislike. While the plot and synopsis sound boring, to be honest, it is far from it. It is simple, adorable and very refreshing. One of the better romance/slice of life I have read.
